Visiting Angels, serving the Baytown area, is seeking a dedicated In Home Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to support clients across Anahuac, Mont Belvieu, Baytown, Dayton and nearby communities. You will assist with daily living activities, mobility, meal prep, and safety while providing companionship and dependable transportation to client homes.

The role emphasizes compassion, reliability, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and a reliable vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• First Aid and emergency response training is required (provided if needed).
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes at scheduled times.
• Ability to perform housekeeping and cooking within dietary constraints.
• Willingness to comply with health and safety standards (background checks).
• Bring compassion and a desire to brighten each client's day.

Responsibilities

In Home Patient Care Assistant - PCA Job Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Possess a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed)
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you’re scheduled to provide care
• Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
• Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
• Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
