Job summary

Riverside In-Home Private Care - Williamsburg in Newport News, VA is hiring to support patients at home under the supervision of the Nurse Manager. You will provide personal care, comfort measures, and basic treatments following the plan of care to ensure safe, respectful and ethical treatment.

The role requires at least 25 years of age, 5+ years of driving record, a valid Driver's License and Auto Policy, and a reliable vehicle. CPR/BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days.

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS certification required or within 30 days of hire.
• Education options include VA Board of Nursing approved Nurse Aide Training, or CMA/CNA/EMT-B, or DMAS PCA training.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care, comfort measures, environmental services, and specified treatments for a specified number of patients.
• Follows the plan of care to ensure consistent, competent, and ethical care within legal standards.
• Maintains clean, safe and orderly environment by cleaning work/patient areas, stocking supplies, and proper storage.
• Assists and participates in training and support of all team members, volunteers and students.
