Visiting Angels is hiring an In Home Patient Care Assistant to enrich clients’ quality of life in Tell City and surrounding areas. You will support wellness per care plans, including daily living activities, meals, mobility, and companionship.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication, time-management, reliability, and compassion, with optional First Aid training. This role offers meaningful work with flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth.

In Home Patient Care Assistant Job Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Posses a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed)
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once
• Reliable transportation to get to & from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
• Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
• Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
• Are willing and able to comply with state & office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
