Qualifications

• Active OT license in Texas (TX)
• Professional liability insurance
• Graduate degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation preferred
• Ability to build rapport with diverse patients
• Strong knowledge of OT treatment methods and evidence-based practices
• Professional, compassionate communication skills

Responsibilities

• Support clients in developing daily living and work skills
• Assist in implementing treatment plans under supervision
• Adapt interventions to improve ADLs and IADLs safety and independence
• Educate on task breakdowns and adaptive strategies
• Recommend and train adaptive equipment
• Assess home environments and suggest modifications
• Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide guidance
• Document care and maintain up-to-date records
• Conduct follow-ups to monitor progress
