Job summary

Adventist Health is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide prescribed OT treatments in a home health and hospice setting. The role includes supervising under licensed OT, assisting with rehab plans, and participating in environmental assessments and staff training.

Requirements include OTA licensure in applicable states, CPR/BLS certification, and a valid driver’s license. Vaccinations and E-Verify participation are part of employment. Location: Middletown, CA-95461.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's/Technical Degree in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Two years' rehabilitative services experience preferred.
• One year's occupational therapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements treatment plans and selects modalities to meet established goals.
• Transports, transfers, and assists patients in and out of wheelchairs, beds, tilt tables and stretchers while ensuring safety and minimizing discomfort.
• Assists patients with dressing and toileting needs.
• Assists with inpatient and outpatient schedules as needed.
• Arranges patient schedules for scheduled visit arrivals and reports delays.
• Maintains, cares for and cleans equipment and supplies.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
