@Home Therapy is looking for an Occupational Therapist to provide home-based interventions for adult patients in Brooklyn. Your tasks will include assessing home environments for safety risks, coaching daily living skills, and tailoring intervention plans to individual needs.

This independent contractor role allows for flexible scheduling and provides the chance to earn $70–$80 per completed visit, with additional bonuses available. Ideal candidates will hold a New York State OT license and have a passion for working in a mobile community setting.

Qualifications

• Current New York State OT license is mandatory.
• Interest in working with adult and geriatric populations is required.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based setting is essential.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are crucial.
• Basic comfort with digital documentation systems needed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate living spaces to identify fall risks and barriers to independence.
• Guide patients through activities such as grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Develop goal-oriented therapy programs tailored to each patient’s home setting.
• Provide clear instruction and education to family members or aides.
• Record visit details using a digital EMR platform.
