Job summary

Cumberland County Department of Public Health seeks a Nutritionist II to deliver in-home and community-based nutrition education. You will plan, develop, and implement counseling and education, conduct nutrition assessments, and work with WIC staff to ensure access to services.

Qualifications

Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetics Registration or CADE verification as required.
Master's degree in Dietetics, Public Health Nutrition, or Nutrition.
Two years nutrition experience in relevant settings or CADE-validated program.

Responsibilities

Provide in-home and community-based nutrition education and counseling to patients.
Complete nutrition assessments and develop nutrition plans.
Collaborate with WIC staff to assure access to services and coordinate care.
Refer to appropriate resources and other agency programs as needed.
Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with program protocols.
