Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking a full-time In-Home Veterinarian in Oceanside, CA and surrounding areas to deliver hospice and euthanasia care in patients' homes. You will join a mobile veterinary team that values work-life balance and professional fulfillment, with ongoing mentorship and a community of over 400 veterinarians and support staff.

Flexibility includes 2-5 day-per-week schedules and compensation structures based on schedule, with 4-day positions starting at $107,500 and

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine is required.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in home settings.
• Practice as a mobile veterinarian with autonomy while maintaining compassionate client relationships.
• Engage in ongoing training and mentorship as part of Lap of Love’s veterinary community.
• Maintain safety and compliance as required by Lap of Love policies.
