Job summary

A Place At Home Yorba Linda is seeking compassionate Memory In-Home Caregivers to provide specialized in-home care for memory care clients in Brea, CA and surrounding areas.

As a caregiver, you will help seniors stay safe and comfortable at home, support activities of daily living, provide memory care reminders and cognitive engagement, and communicate with families and the care team to follow individualized care plans. Qualifications

• California Home Care Aide (HCA) certification required.
• Background check is required.
• Experience with Alzheimer’s or dementia care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, non-medical in-home Alzheimer’s and dementia care.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Provide medication reminders.
• Offer structured companionship and cognitive engagement.
• Use positive redirection techniques for memory-related behaviors.
• Maintain a calm, safe, and supportive home environment.
• Assist with mobility and safe transfers (training provided).
• Support meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Communicate effectively with families and care team members.
• Follow individualized memory care plans.

Memory In-Home Caregiver

A Place At Home is seeking compassionate and dependable Alzheimer’s Caregivers to provide specialized in-home care for memory care clients in Brea, CA and surrounding areas.

If you have experience supporting individuals living with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia — and you lead with patience, empathy, and professionalism — we invite you to join our growing team.

As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in helping seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes while providing reassurance and support to their families.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, non-medical in-home Alzheimer’s and dementia care

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)

• Provide medication reminders

• Offer structured companionship and cognitive engagement

• Use positive redirection techniques for memory-related behaviors
