Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Measure Technician (In-Home Advisor) to conduct in-home measure appointments, support sales and installations, and build strong customer relationships. You will provide accurate measurements, calculations, and quote presentations in a professional, courteous manner.

Travel is required within a defined geographic area, using company devices, with daily customer interaction and a focus on service quality and productivity.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Reliable Transportation.
• 1+ years of previous related work experience.
• The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.

Responsibilities

• 60% Appointment Measures - Complete daily routes for pre-assigned measure appointments as efficiently and accurately as possible.
• 4% Collaboration - Cooperate with Associates, Supervisors, and Managers to complete all other work activities as assigned.
• 1% Compliance - Follow all policies, procedures, and adhere to work schedule.
• 35% Customer Service - Ask customers open ended questions and listen to responses about their projects and product needs. Describe features and benefits of merchandise as well as steps involved in completing projects.
