Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for a full-time role in Saint Hedwig, TX, caring for an infant patient population. The position offers day shifts Monday through Friday with a focus on high-quality homecare and compassionate patient support.

The role requires an active LPN/LVN license in the applicable state, CPR certification, and reliable transportation. Training is available for specialized needs such as feeding tubes and med administration.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the practice state.
• Current CPR certification (Aveanna can assist in obtaining if needed).
• TB skin test current (within 12 months).
• Six months of hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Compact licenses must be transferred to home state within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate quality patient care per physician orders.
• Observe and assess patient condition; report changes to supervisor/physician.
• Document activities, assessments and nursing actions in a timely manner.
• Participate, implement and update the nursing care plan.
• Take appropriate nursing action based on assessment to achieve outcomes.
• Maintain infection control per OSHA; protect staff and patient.
• Educate patient and family on disease, self-care and prevention strategies.
