Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in the United States is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with pediatric and/or adult patients in their own homes. You will assess and provide skilled nursing care using the nursing process, document care plans, and respond to changes in patient condition.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN license in the state where practice will occur.
• Current TB test or Chest X-ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services per prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from health care team and document nursing diagnoses.
