Job summary
Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for in-home care in the Saxton or Martinsburg area. The role offers full-time, part-time, and PRN day shifts with a focus on one-on-one patient care and a flexible work schedule.
The LPN will provide direct patient care at home, follow prescribed plans, monitor progress, administer medications, and collaborate with the care team to ensure optimal outcomes. CPR/BLS/First Aid certification and a current LPN license are required.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
- Current unrestricted LPN license to practice in the applicable state.
- CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification required.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home direct patient care according to the plan of care and nursing scope of practice.
- Assess and document patient conditions and report changes (vital signs, glucose, etc.).
- Administer medications, insulin, and IV fluids as prescribed.
- Inspect and care for wounds; change dressings and assist with personal hygiene.
- Assess for further injuries or conditions and deliver appropriate treatments.
- Collaborate with providers, aides, and other health professionals to ensure quality outcomes.
