Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience caring for seniors and/or adults with disabilities, professionally or personally.
• Dementia and Alzheimer's care experience is a plus.
• Compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Comfortable using a smartphone to clock in/out and document care.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation.
• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
• Prepare meals and assist with meal planning.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Run errands and grocery shop.
• Transport clients to appointments and community activities.
• Document care using a smartphone application.
• Help promote each client's safety, comfort, and independence.
