Job summary

StudyPoint is seeking tutors to provide in-home academic support for elementary and middle school students across math, language arts, science, and social studies in the Chicago area. You’ll design engaging lessons, travel to students’ homes, and work as a W-2 employee with paid training.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience and a Bachelor’s degree, with a strong academic background.

Qualifications

• Two years of teaching or tutoring experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong academic background preferred (classroom teachers/paraprofessionals).
• Ability to teach reading, writing and math skills at elementary/middle grades.
• Must have reliable car access to travel to students’ homes.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging, student-centered tutoring sessions.
• Travel to students’ homes and manage in-home sessions.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents and StudyPoint staff.
