Job summary

Prep Academy Tutors of Atlanta is seeking experienced, certified teachers and qualified educators to provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring in students’ homes around the Atlanta area.

You will deliver instruction in Mathematics, English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies, adapting lessons to each student’s needs while building confidence and academic progress. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or higher and a Georgia teaching license/certificate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Valid Georgia teaching license/certificate or equivalent.
• Classroom teaching experience.
• Ability to travel to student homes in Atlanta area.
• Experience with students in grades K–12.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Student-centered approach with professionalism and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one instruction to K–12 students in the student’s home.
• Support Mathematics, English Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, etc.
• Adapt lessons to each student’s learning needs.
• Reinforce classroom instruction and help with challenging concepts.
• Assist with homework, organization, and study strategies.
• Travel to students’ homes across Atlanta.
• Maintain professional relationships with families.
• Monitor progress and communicate observations.
• Encourage ownership of learning and confidence.
• Provide a productive in-home learning environment.
