Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Research Technician - CHRR to conduct in-person interviews for research studies and administer web surveys using laptops provided by the department. You may visit respondents at their homes or other approved locations within the I-270 loop in Columbus, OH and will collect hair and blood samples at the end of visits.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, be able to transport two laptops with accessories, and comply with PPE and

Qualifications

• Must be able to carry a laptop bag containing two laptops and accessories.
• Must be willing and able to collect biomarker samples (hair and blood spots) with appropriate PPE.
• Fully trained in blood collection methods and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person interviews for research studies by administering web surveys using department-provided laptops.
• Travel to respondents’ homes or alternate locations (library or department office) as requested.
• Collect hair and blood samples at the end of home visits and return to CHRR.
