Responsibilities

• Act as the liaison between the student, parent, and school.
• Provide direct instruction to student for at least 3 hours/week.
• Contact parent/guardian to establish teaching date, time, and location.
• Collaborate with teacher(s) of record for materials.
• Provide instruction as specified by teacher(s) of record.
• Provide regular updates to school counselor.
• Meet with parent/guardian after the session.
• Provide feedback on student progress.
• Contact school counselor with concerns about engagement, attendance, or behavior.
