Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice & In-Home Euthanasia is seeking compassionate veterinarians to provide in-home hospice and end-of-life care for pets in the Kennett Square, Hamburg, Malvern area of Pennsylvania. You will practice medicine on the road, supported by a team that values mentorship, training, and well-being from day one.

Choose your schedule: 5-day full-time, 4-day full-time, or self-managed part-time options with prorated compensation.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• License verification, background check, and driving record review before start.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home hospice and end-of-life care for pets.
• Practice medicine independently on the road with mentorship from the team.
• Support grieving families with dignity, empathy, and clear communication.
• Visit families' homes in the PA area, delivering care where pets feel safest.
