Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking a compassionate veterinarian to deliver end-of-life care in pets’ homes across Tulsa, Bixby, Owasso and surrounding areas. You will work on the road with a supportive team, balancing autonomy with mentorship to provide dignified, gentle euthanasia when needed.

The role offers flexible scheduling (2–5 days per week) and a base salary with quarterly bonus opportunities; there is no non-compete clause, and the team prioritizes work–life balance and family time.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine required; DVM or equivalent (VMD/BVMS).
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Weekends on Your Terms; flexible scheduling.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• License verification, background check, and driving record reviewed prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate end-of-life veterinary care in a home setting.
• Practice independently on the road with mentorship and support from the team.
• Offer empathetic communication to families and help them say goodbye with dignity.
