Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice in Florida seeks an In-Home Hospice and Euthanasia Veterinarian to serve pet families in Orlando, Lake Buena Vista, Celebration, Windermere, Winter Park, and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible, part-time scheduling and the ability to practice medicine with a private, family-owned team, away from corporate clinics.

You will provide compassionate end-of-life care in clients' homes, perform euthanasia when appropriate, and collaborate with a small, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must hold DVM/VMD/BVMS and have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs unassisted.
• Weekend availability (rotational).
• Demonstrates compassion, dignity and respect to all.
• Excellent professional communication with teams and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia veterinary services.
• Practice medicine compassionately in clients' homes without corporate constraints.
• Maintain professional communication with clients and team.
• Possess independence to manage mobile veterinary services.
• Adhere to safety and ethical guidelines during procedures.
