Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking Veterinarians to deliver in-home hospice and euthanasia services across Orlando, Lake Buena Vista, Celebration, Windermere, and surrounding Florida communities. This privately held, family‑owned practice emphasizes patient‑ and family‑centered care with no non-compete contracts.

Ideal candidates provide meaningful end‑of‑life care, can work independently in mobile settings, and collaborate closely with families and the veterinary team.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree with veterinary license.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to work independently in a mobile/home-visit setting.
• Weekend availability on a rotational basis.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs unassisted.
• Demonstrated compassion, dignity and respect for all.
• Professional communication with team and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care to pets and families.
• Coordinate care with families and veterinary team.
• Maintain high-quality compassionate end-of-life care.
