Heartstrings Pet Hospice is hiring veterinarians to provide in-home end-of-life care and euthanasia across Arkansas communities including Little Rock, College Station and McAlmont. Ideal candidates hold a DVM/VMD/BVMS, possess a valid license, and can work independently in a mobile environment, with weekend availability and the ability to lift up to 45 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM/VMD/BVMS).
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to work independently in a mobile environment.
• Weekend availability on a rotational basis.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
• Demonstrates compassion, dignity and respect for all families.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care to pets and support to families.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with clients and team.
• Manage care independently during mobile visits.
