Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice in Ohio seeks compassionate veterinarians to provide in-home end-of-life care, offering meaningful work at the patient’s home with time to listen to families.

You’ll practice on the road with strong mentorship, schedule options, and generous benefits, including base salary and quarterly bonus opportunities, while maintaining work-life balance in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree or equivalent.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
• Flexible schedule with weekend options; no fixed rotation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• License verification, background check, and driving record review prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home euthanasia and hospice care to pets.
• Practice medicine on the road with generous time per visit.
• Offer compassionate guidance to families during end-of-life moments.
• Collaborate with mentorship and experienced colleagues for support.
