Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking a compassionate veterinarian to provide in-home hospice and end-of-life care across Ohio and Michigan, delivering care on a mobile schedule with the freedom to choose 2–5 days per week. You’ll work independently on the road, with strong mentorship and team support from day one.

This role emphasizes meaningful patient and family conversations, with generous compensation and quarterly bonus opportunities, plus comprehensive benefits and a no non-compete policy.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS required and licensed to practice in the U.S.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Willing to work 2–5 day weeks and self-managed scheduling options.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• Must pass license verification, a background check, and driving record review.
