Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled hospice nursing care to terminally ill patients in their homes. You will follow physician orders, document care in an electronic medical record, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to manage symptoms and ensure comfort.

The role requires nursing licensure in the appropriate state, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license. Experience in hospice or long-term care is preferred, with a strong focus on compassionate patient

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing in the applicable state.
• Must be a licensed driver.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled professional nursing care to terminally ill patients in their residence as prescribed by the physician.
• Document patient progress and care in the electronic medical record in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to manage symptoms and comfort.
• Assess and respond to patients' changing needs, ensuring quality of life.
