Job summary

Vivie is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide compassionate in-home hospice care in Minnesota. This full-time, exempt role operates on a 7 days on/7 days off schedule (7:00 PM–8:00 AM typical) with 64 hours per pay period and guaranteed earnings.

You will triage, assess, and manage patient care across Baxter and Wadena territories. You’ll collaborate with families and an interdisciplinary team, ensuring pain management, comfort, and supportive bereavement planning.

Qualifications

• RN license in Minnesota required; CPR certification preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and time-management skills.
• Ability to travel to client homes and respond to patient needs during on-call hours.
• Pass state background checks.
• Read, write and speak English effectively for clear communication with clients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hospice care with skilled assessments and routine visits, including admission, discharge, and end-of-life care.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team to develop and follow a care plan; educate families on pain management and comfort measures.
• Prioritize calls and visits with urgency; complete accurate documentation promptly at the point of care.
• Maintain strong communication with the team including manager, physicians, social workers, aides, chaplains, and referral sources.
• Provide emotional support to families before and after death and participate in bereavement planning as needed.
• This role is salary, exempt and may include other duties as assigned.
