Job summary

Giving Home Health Care is seeking compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Datil, NM to deliver patient care at the home of the patient under a physician-approved plan. This is a 1099 contract opportunity with care provided in the patient’s residence, enabling long-term caregiver–patient relationships.

The role requires a 21 hours/week schedule, seven days a week, with an early to mid-morning start.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to monitor vital signs.
• Dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Work with the patient in their home to provide one-on-one service in a comfortable and familiar setting.
• Assist with the patients’ activities of daily living as well as personal care.
• Light housekeeping
• Meal preparation
• Monitor vitals (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) according to plan of care.
• Remind patient to take medication as prescribed.
• Maintain records and documentation of services.
• Communication with the patients’ family, doctors, and other prescribed individuals regarding the health and care of the patient.
