Job summary

Angels Care Home Health is seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our team. You will perform in-home patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, helping with daily activities, observation, and documentation of care provided.

The position requires at least 18 years old, a preferred High School Diploma, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. One year of HHA/Nursing Assistant experience or completion of a CNA/CHHA program is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must meet the training requirements of the State.
• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma Preferred.
• Must have current driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation with current auto liability insurance.
• At least one year’s experience as a Home Health Aide or Nursing Assistant preferred; OR completion of CNA or CHHA program.
• Must be able to read and write in English and follow written/verbal instructions effectively.
• Demonstrates interest in welfare of ill and elderly.
• Proof of CPR (Florida only) and Hepatitis profile.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given.
• Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal healthcare and related services to clients in their place of residence.
• Assist in providing a safe and clean environment.
• Work cooperatively with patient and family and share observations with supervisor.
• Work under the direction of aRegistered Nurse.
