Job summary

Angel Care Home Companion Services in Commack, NY seeks a compassionate Health Aide to join our home-based care team. You will provide essential health and personal care support in clients' homes to help them maintain independence and well-being.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, monitoring health, offering companionship, mobility support, meal prep, and light housekeeping in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
Compassionate, patient and respectful demeanor towards clients.
Valid HHA or PCA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Monitor and record client health status, vital signs, and changes in condition.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
Assist with mobility, transfers, and light exercise as directed.
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.
