Job summary

Furniture Fair in Cold Spring, KY is seeking a full-time Sales & Design Consultant to help customers choose furniture and design solutions. You will greet shoppers, learn about their space, budget and style, and present furniture and accessories that fit their homes.

The role includes in-home consultations when needed, building strong product knowledge, staying current on promotions, and following up with customers to grow repeat and referral business while working toward personal and store

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• A positive, professional attitude.
• Motivation to achieve sales goals.
• Ability to build relationships and follow up with customers.
• Previous sales, retail, customer-service or design experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to work a retail schedule including weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and learn about their style, space, budget and furniture needs.
• Recommend furniture and accessories that fit each customer\'s home.
• Create and present design solutions based on customer preferences and living spaces.
• Conduct in-home consultations when needed, including measuring and assessing the space.
• Develop strong product knowledge and stay current on promotions and new merchandise.
• Follow up with customers regarding purchases, product arrivals, promotions and future needs.
• Build repeat and referral business through outstanding customer service.
• Work toward individual and store sales goals.
