Job summary

Cardi's is seeking a skilled, dependable In-Home Furniture Repair Service Technician to join our growing service team. You will travel to customers’ homes in a company vehicle to inspect furniture damage and perform repairs across upholstery, leather, fabric, recliner mechanisms, and surfaces, delivering high-quality workmanship.

This full-time role offers paid training, a company van, and competitive pay of $20–$21 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily routes.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to safely lift and move furniture.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Preferred but not required: stain matching, burn-ins, leather repair, fabric cleaning, or upholstery repairs.

Schedule

• Tuesday thru Saturday 7:30am-4pm (End time varies based on daily service workload)

What You’ll Do

Ideal Candidate Background

We are looking for candidates with experience in one or more of the following:

• Furniture repair or finishing
• Upholstery or leather repair
• Woodworking or cabinetry
• Carpentry or general skilled trades
• Field service technician work
• Mechanical repair or assembly

Physical Requirements

This position requires:

• Frequent lifting, pushing, and moving furniture (up to 100 lbs unassisted)
• Standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing in/out of vehicles throughout the day
• Safe use of hand and power tools
• Driving for extended periods between service calls
