Qualifications

Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-home visits 3-5 times a week with a small caseload of approximately two families
  • Coordinate with local Child Protective Services workers to understand safety risks and ensure quality services
  • Utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques to teach necessary skills to family members
  • Attend training, meetings, and supervision sessions to enhance skills and service delivery
  • Prepare reports and required documentation related to family needs and interventions
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, social sciences, human services, or equivalent field with at least two years of experience working with children and families; or a master’s degree in a related field with experience in the same area
  • Demonstrated clinical and crisis intervention skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license with three years of driving experience in the U.S. and ability to pass a motor vehicle records check
  • Must pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with families in crisis or with children in protective services
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic models
  • Previous training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or similar methodologies
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage documentation effectively
