Job summary

The Villages of Indiana is seeking dedicated individuals to provide client centered and culturally competent family support services to children and their families through the Healthy Families program.

Responsibilities include conducting in-home parent assessment interviews, collecting data, advising on child development, family safety and community resources; acting as a liaison between Healthy Families and referral agencies; advocating for parents and children in the community; and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with and/or providing services to children and families and community agencies.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in home parent assessment interviews, collect data and assess client needs.
• Provide child development, family safety and community resources to families.
• Act as a liaison between Healthy Families and resource and referral agencies.
• Demonstrate self-motivation to assure contact expectations for each family are met.
• Advocate for parents and children in the community and participate in community events.
