Job summary

Samaritas is seeking a Preservation Advocate / Case Manager for the MiFamily Together (MFT) program in Michigan. This home-based role focuses on family preservation and reunification, delivering hands-on, respectful support to families in their homes over a six-month engagement.

You’ll apply strengths-based approaches to reduce risk, promote wellbeing, and empower caregivers and children toward sustainable family stability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services field or education is required.
• Two years’ experience working with children and/or families is acceptable with an associate degree or equivalent and pursuing a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• In-Home Family Support: provide weekly in-home services to families over a 6-month period.
• Assessment & Treatment Planning: conduct comprehensive family assessments and collaboratively set goals.
• Documentation & Compliance: maintain accurate case records, complete reports, and meet program requirements.
