Job summary

Family 7 Foundations is hiring Family Education Coordinators across Utah to support families at risk of foster care. The role involves delivering 25 adaptive sessions on parenting, home safety and related skills, with weekly reports to DHHS caseworkers.

FECs work in homes, adapt to family needs, and contribute to a data-driven program while maintaining HIPAA compliance and strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or related field.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Email.
• Pass a background check through DHHS.
• Reliable transportation.
• Reliable computer.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and education to families in Utah referred to Family 7 Foundations.
• Recognize, respond, and adapt to the educational needs of the family.
• Report back successes and struggles to the DHHS case workers after each session.
• Share best practices and teaching methods; continually develop and improve curriculum.
• Participate in data gathering and interpretation for a data-driven program and quality improvement.
• Maintain a safe and positive learning environment for all students.
• Maintain positive relationships with parents, children and case workers.
• Monitor progress of students.
• Complete required training and scheduled ongoing training.
• Remain compliant with state and federal regulations (HIPAA).
• Ensure students meet academic goals and maintain attendance and travel records.
• Follow the mission of Family 7 Foundations.
