Job summary

Center for Family Services seeks a full-time In Home Counselor for the Family Preservation Services (FPS) program. The FPS program delivers short-term, in-home support and crisis intervention for families in Gloucester Counties, aiming to prevent out-of-home placement and improve safety, well-being, and permanency for children and families.

The role involves crisis-responsive counseling, rapid assessments, and coordination with community resources to support family functioning and reunification

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in home counseling.
• Current driver’s license with a good driving record of at least three years.
• Vehicle with current insurance and registration.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a caseload of 2-3 families and be directly accessible to families 24/7 for crises.
• Provide direct counseling using individual, family, and group methods within program objectives.
• Complete 3-, 6-, and 12-month follow-ups and prepare required supervisory/administrative reports.
