Job summary

Restful Paws seeks a compassionate veterinarian to join our in-home euthanasia and end-of-life care team across the San Francisco Peninsula and South Bay. This role focuses on peaceful, at-home end-of-life support for pets and families, with a schedule that often involves about 12 appointments per week over 3-4 days.

Typical hours are 9–5 with some weekend availability; nights are not required unless you opt in.

Qualifications

• No specialized experience required.
• Willingness to travel across Peninsula and South Bay.
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs unassisted and up to 100lbs assisted.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home end of life services for pets and their families.
• Travel throughout the San Francisco Peninsula, South Bay, and Fremont.
• Work in a calm, intimate setting with time and support for clients.
• Be supported by social work trained staff to focus on patients.
• Receive daily appreciation and gratitude from clients.
