Job summary

Herewith is seeking an In-Home Dialysis Technician to support patients in the home setting in Woodstock, Connecticut. You will prep and assist during dialysis sessions, offer companionship, monitor safety, and coordinate with clinical staff.

Ideal candidates have prior dialysis support experience, understand home dialysis equipment, and communicate clearly with care teams. The role offers consistent weekly hours and a structured care plan.

Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting dialysis patients (home or clinical setting).
• Familiarity with home dialysis machines is preferred.
• Reliable, empathetic and detail oriented.
• Strong interpersonal communication.
• Must be dependable.
• Must pass background check and vetting via Herewith platform.

Responsibilities

• Conduct & Support patient setup for dialysis treatments (NxStage, Tablo or equivalent).
• Provide companionship, emotional reassurance and schedule adherence.
• Monitor safety and assist with light activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Maintain communication with clinic nurses and care coordinators.
• Document any concerns or changes observed during support hours.
