Job summary

Art of Drawers in the Twin Cities metro seeks freelance Designers to conduct in-home design appointments, educate clients on cabinetry solutions, and help create organized spaces with pull-out drawers. This part-time, independent contractor role offers company-generated leads and flexible scheduling.

Designers are expected to be personable, proactive, and self-motivated, with strong client communication skills and a willingness to learn the product line. Training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly learn Art of Drawers' offerings, accurately design, measure and document solutions, and employ technology.
• Strong organizational and oral/written professional communication skills.
• Friendly, goal-oriented, and driven nature.
• Previous design experience a plus.
• Have your own phone, computer, printer, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Convert leads to clients by conducting in-home design appointments with company-provided and self-generated client leads.
• Coordinate and communicate with team members and upload leads, orders, estimates, designs, and photos promptly.
• Take client deposits.
• Attend and participate in designer training and ongoing training.
• Provide a platinum level of service and grow your client base.
