Responsibilities

• Provides companion services such as meal preparation, medication reminders, errands, grocery shopping, companionship, transportation, and light housekeeping.
• Follows the plan of care to assure patients receive consistent, competent, and ethical care within legal standards.
• Assists client in making medical appointments and ensures attendance.
• Assists and participates in training and support of all team members, volunteers and students.
• Ensures availability of resources to ensure positive patient outcomes and maintains a clean, safe environment.
