Job summary

Residential Transitions, Inc. (RTI) is hiring a Full-Time IHS Community Mental Health Worker in the Minneapolis–St. Paul metro area to support clients at home with individualized training in independent living skills.

Applicants should have background in SMI/TBI work or relevant education, willingness to travel within the Metro, and a strong person-centered approach. RTI offers generous PTO, on-demand pay, and comprehensive health benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in SMI/TBI work or relevant education.
• Pass DHS and related background checks.
• Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle.
• Able to travel within the Metro Area.
• Ability to work independently and with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 home support and teach independent living skills.
• Identify coping skills and mental health management strategies.
• Model community integration and daily living tasks.
• Assist with medications management and transportation.
• Engage clients in recreation and social activities.
• Promote healthy living habits and skill development.
