Job summary

BrightStar Care of Lawrenceville is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide quality in-home care to a client in Cumming, GA. The CNA will work Wednesday through Sunday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, earning $20.00 per hour with weekly payroll.

The role requires current CNA certification, reliable transportation, and the ability to follow a detailed Plan of Care while delivering respectful, compassionate care and companionship to the client.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification.
• Previous caregiving or healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience with Hoyer lift transfers preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently while following the care plan.

Responsibilities

• Toileting and personal hygiene assistance
• Transferring assistance using a Hoyer lift
• Bathing and dressing
• Skin care and oral care
• Companionship and client interaction
• Light housekeeping
• Additional care as outlined in the client's Plan of Care
• Assist the client with activities of daily living
• Safely assist with transfers using a Hoyer lift
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition to the appropriate nursing staff
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Maintain a clean, safe environment
• Follow the established Plan of Care and policies
