Job summary

Comfort Keepers is now hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Little Falls area. Wage begins at $18 an hour unless Certified Nursing Assistant then $20 an hour. Eligible after 5 months of employment for free CNA classes with Scrubs Academy.

Part time and full-time hours available depending on your availability. As an in-home caregiver, you will help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Qualifications

• Experience in a caregiving role.
• Must be available every other weekend and holiday.
• 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Own reliable transportation, clean driving record, 3 years driving experience.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance and comfortable driving.
• DHS and driving record background clearance.
• Customer Service Excellence, Professional Boundaries required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Provide hands-on personal care including dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene.
• Light housekeeping (bathroom, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, laundry).
• Meal planning, cooking and baking.
• Provide conversation and companionship.
• Interactive Caregiving.
• Assist with mobility using transfer tools/equipment.
• Assist with medication.
• Dementia or Alzheimer’s care.
• Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed.
• Provide proper electronic documentation of shifts and cares.
