Job summary

Immanuel PathwaysPACE® is seeking a CNA to work at Pathways Central Iowa located at 7700 Hickman Road, Windsor Heights, IA 50324. You will work with our Immanuel Pathways participant's in their personal homes. We reimburse$0.725/milefor travel.

The schedule is 6:30 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday, with rotating holidays and no weekends. This position will pay up to $22.06/hour, based on experience, certifications, skills and education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate is required in the relevant state.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• One year of experience with frail or elderly population or completion of job-specific training within six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal cares and assistance with activities of daily living for participants.
• Monitor health status and report changes to the care team.
• Maintain a safe environment for participants in homes and centers.

Education

Job Duties & Skills Required

What You Will Do

Responsible for providing and assisting participants of Immanuel Pathways program with personal cares, activities of daily living, restorative, recreational programing and supportive care in the center and/or participant’s homes. Assists in monitoring and reporting participant’s health status and providing a safe environment for the participants of Immanuel Pathways.

Skills & Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Active Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate required in the respective state in which he/she is employed.

Be at least 18 years of age.

One (1) year of experience working with the frail or elderly population required, or completion of job specific training related to working with the elderly population must be completed within the first six months of hire.

Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and have your own reliable vehicle.
