Job summary

Kids for the Future in Minneapolis is seeking a dedicated ASL professional to assist two clients with daily living tasks in their own homes. You will support banking, mail reading, and community activities, totaling 37 hours per week across two clients.

The role requires fluent ASL, 19+ years old, a valid driver’s license and auto insurance, and strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Paid training, shift incentives, and client outing seed money are provided.

Do you want to put your ASL skills to use? We are looking for that special person that has great ASL skills to work alongside two of our clients

Our two clients, who live their own homes, in St.Paul, require your skills to help them with daily living tasks.

Client 1: Male, would like help with banking, reading and understanding his mail, and going in the community to get his shopping. (17 hours per week)

Client 2: Female, who would like your help with organizing her apartment, doing her laundry, trying new recipies (she loves cooking), or out in the community, doing her shopping or spending time with her family. (20 hours per week)

Requirements

American Sign Language (ASL) Must be fluent!

19+ years old

Valid driver’s license and Auto Insurance in your name

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently

Background check required
