In-Home Child Caregiver

Responsibilities:

1. Care for infant to school-aged children in their own homes – no transporting kids or household chores required
2. Engage children in hands-on activities tailored to their interests and needs
3. Ensure the safety and well-being of children in your care

Qualifications:

• Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet minimum education and experience requirements:
• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation and a cell phone
• At least 1 year of child care experience outside of friends and family
• Experience with children of all ages from infant to 12 years old

Physical Requirements:

This position requires compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, Bright Horizons’, and client site requirements concerning immunizations, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training. If hired, you will work in person in the New Orleans, LA area to provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services per Bright Horizons’ policies, procedures, and guidance, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, ensuring children's safety.

Compensation:

The hourly rate ranges from $15.00-$17.00. The listed pay range is an estimate; actual offers depend on experience, education, certifications, location, and other factors.
