Job summary

ComForCare Home Care - Alameda is seeking caregivers to support children with and without special needs in a home setting. Roles offer part-time and full-time possibilities with flexible scheduling to fit your life.

You will guide children in social and communication skills, support overall growth, and plan engaging activities while maintaining a safe, nurturing environment. You must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED and have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation is required.
• Ability to work evenings and/or weekends.
• Passion for working with children ages 5-10.
• Experience or passion working with special needs children is a plus.
• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.
• Strong interpersonal and compassionate nature.

Responsibilities

• Guide children in building social and communication skills.
• Support physical, emotional, and cognitive growth.
• Plan creative activities that encourage exploration.
