Location: Spokane Valley and surrounding areas.

Hiring Caregivers for Part-Time, Day shifts, and Weekend coverage.

Pay range: $20-$25/hour depending on client needs.

Your Role:

As a caregiver with TheKey, you'll play a critical role in executing personalized care plans catering to the all-encompassing needs of our clients. By delivering exceptional care, aiding in daily tasks, and supervising overall care, you'll become an indispensable part of our clients' lives. Your duties will include:

  • Providing companionship to our clients.
  • Assisting with transportation for appointments, errands, and recreational activities.
  • Preparing wholesome meals.
  • Undertaking light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
  • Employing interpersonal skills, including exceptional patience and attentive listening.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Delivering exceptional care to the dedicated client in their home
  • Help execute comprehensive personalized weekly schedules and care plans
  • Complete daily tasks in a safe and professional manner (ADLs)
  • Supply personal companionship, remaining actively engaged with each client by providing ongoing social & emotional support
  • Assist with personal care activities to include personal hygiene, mobility assistance, incontinence care, light housekeeping, feeding and meal preparation
  • Keep order, safety and client enjoyment top of mind at all times
  • Provide transportation to and from appointments as needed
  • Administrative functions such as documentation of completion of tasks and report changes in the client’s physical condition, mental capability or behavior
Qualifications

To Get Started You Will Need:

  • Must have a CNA, HCA, an NAR with a Grandfather letter, or be able to get certified within 120 days from date of hire.
  • Driver for clients (with vehicle, car insurance and registration) preferred but NOT required.
  • Open availability including weekends strongly preferred
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
