Wind Crest by Erickson Senior Living is hiring a Home Care Worker for a per diem, flexible role within the Highlands Ranch community. You will provide non-medical personal care, assist with daily living activities, housekeeping, meal prep and escort residents to activities and appointments.

Two weekends per month plus at least one weekday are required; compensation ranges from $19.50 to $23.00 per hour, depending on experience and license.

• Minimum 1 year of experience serving seniors.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (non-medical) and assist with daily living activities.
• Perform routine housekeeping, meal planning and preparation.
• Escort residents to appointments and social events.

Job Description

Join our team as a Home Care Worker and do what you love—without the travel! Our clients are all within our gated retirement community. As a caregiver, you’ll provide personal care, assist with daily living activities, handle housekeeping and meal preparation, and escort residents to appointments and social events.

Schedule

This is a per diem / flex role. We have days and evenings open. Two weekends are required a month (Saturday and Sunday) along with at least one weekday each week.

How you will make an impact

• Provide personal care (non-medical) and assisting with activities of daily living
• Support residents by performing routine housekeeping tasks, meal planning and preparation, pet walking and feeding, closet organization, and kitchen chores
• Escort residents to appointments and social activities
• Promote psychosocial well-being through meaningful relationships
• Notifies office in a timely fashion, of any change in a resident’s condition.
• Adheres to all department policies, procedures, and care standards.
• Maintains competency in the required job skills and knowledge.

What you will need

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a care provider serving the senior population is required
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Compensation

Compensation: $19.50-$23.00/hour (depending on experience and license)
